The Master of Ceremonies Story
Master of Ceremonies didn't start as a wine company. It started in the design and creative scene ofMount Maunganui, where the founding team's instincts were more "how should this look and feel" than "what varietal should we plant." That creative-first DNA is still the thing that separates MC from most wine labels on the shelf.
History
From 2017 to now
MC launched its wine range in 2017 — rosé, pinot noir and pinot gris out the gate, sparkling rosé to follow — and built a genuine following over the next several years: a nationwide stockist network, an active wine club, and later, a sister canned-cocktail brand, Pals, made with clean spirits and real Hawke's Bay fruit extracts. Along the way, MC did what a lot of bigger, more corporate wine brands never bother with: actual collaborations, like the limited-editionMC x Stolen Girlfriends Club sparkling rosé, and a genuine presence at events across New Zealand.
The brand went quiet in 2024. It's back now — same name, same product family, same "drink it, don't overthink it" attitude, rebuilt for a new chapter. Master of Ceremonies Limited is registered in Auckland, New Zealand.

MC is a licensed New Zealand alcohol producer, and this site is intended for people 18 years and over. Wine and RTDs are best enjoyed slowly and in good company — if you're hosting, make sure everyone gets home safely, and know that it's always fine to say no thanks.
